Peñafrancia Festival Fluvial Procession 2022

This was the first time I have ventured to the banks of the Naga Rover to witness firsthand the Penafrancia Fluvial Procession - just getting to a spot to view this was quite the adventure - but it was worth the risky trek to be amongst the friendly Bicolano's to witness the Villadores in their boats struggling to pull the fluvial to the Basilica museum waterway entrance. To get to this spot, we first tried to find a spot on the crowded back across from where most of the photos were shot, but after being attacked by fireants and being way too crowded, we went to the side we watched from after finding a path through some waterfront shanty residences to emerge where we were able to finally stand and watch.
